When I write, one of two things usually happens: I either sit down and pour an experience, thought, or emotion onto the page, or I have a couple of lines bouncing around in my head that I can form into a chorus. Usually, I have about 20 different ideas popping up. So I wanna share a few that I haven't quite been able to work with yet. But you'll probably see these later...

This one is from many months ago. Like over the summer...
"My pen is my sword, my heart is its master/And I'm so sick of waiting for disaster/I don't care if am in imminent danger/To the pain of heartbreak, I've become no stranger"
That would be the chorus, but I haven't come up with anything else yet. The last two lines have gone through several stages of editing, and I still don't know how good the flow is on it...

Here's another one that's been in my head a while. It's another chorus.
"I could sleep for days if I could only close my eyes/Searching for some comfort like moths will seek out the light"
I've tried a couple different endings for it, but I don't really know how to do it...

I already titled this next one "Pot of Gold," even though I haven't developed it past these four lines:
"I'm so sick of searching for some fictional pot of gold/And I'm wondering, do you feel the same?/You think you're so safe inside yourself, but I know that it makes you cold/So I'm wondering, where do you put the pain?"
Came up with that just before I wrote "Chelsea."

These next ones are just like one liners that I came up with and jotted down:
"Pull the trigger, close your eyes and scream!"
That one would probably go with the second thing I showed you, but I don't know. It almost found it's way into "Monster," but I think I altered it quite a bit and stuck a version of it somewhere or something, I don't know.

"Sometimes I say things just to break the silence"
What the hell rhymes with silence? Except violence, which I'm not using because I can't think of any way to work it into the context of the song.

I probably have more, but this is all I could think of. Anyway, just thought I'd give you a taste of some songs you might be seeing later this month. Au revoir!
